Blue Rug Spreading Juniper
Juniperus horizontalis 'Wiltonii'
One of the finest trailing junipers having a uniform, full centered growth habit with intense silver-blue evergreen foliage. The lowest growing Juniper shrub staying 4 to 6 inches tall, but it does spread to fill large areas. It is extremely cold tolerant being able to grow from zones 3 to 9, but The Blue Rug Juniper can still take the heat and drought of south Georgia very well. Excellent for large scale groundcovers or cascading over walls.
