Frost tender, these tropical plants need a moist, humus-rich soil in full sun or part-shade with a minimum temperature of about 45° F.
Water well during growth and less when dormant. Indoors they require warmth, high humidity and ample water throughout the summer growth period.
Blooms from January to May in Hawaii. Malay Rose ginger does well in shade.
Hardiness: USDA zone 10B - 11.
For live plants, we can't send them to Alaska and Hawaii. If the order has already been placed, we will cancel it.
