The Barbados Cherry, or Malpighia emarginata (formerly Malpighia glabra), is a small shrub-like tree that produces gorgeous pink blossoms before maturing into tasty fruit. Barbados cherries are packed with more vitamin C than other varieties, so eat up! A great pick for landscapes and container growing.
