This vanilla bean orchid is the most widely-grown source for vanilla beans. It's a large vining orchid that's easier to grow than many others. It can climb a tree or be twined around a hanging basket. Since this vanilla bean orchid is tropical, it only does well in non-freezing areas. It makes an excellent outdoor plant or houseplant.

• Fertilizer: Nitrogen/Phosphorus/Potassium in a 3/1/6 ratio

• Soil: Well-drained. Do not let dry out between waterings.

Plant Size
