3 year old Western Red Cedar trees, (Thuja plicata) - Potted seedling - 24" - 30" tall trees.
Wide spread in the Pacific Northwest, but also grows as far North as Central New York, in the Midwest, to the higher elevations of Hawaii.
A large tree growing up to 200 feet tall and living over a thousand years old. Its timber is known for its tight straight grain and natural resistance to decay. Evergreen foliage is dark green. Makes a great wildlife tree, screen or wind break.
Prefers moist, acid, well drained soil. Survives temperatures as low as -30. Prefers sun, but will grow in shade! USDA zones 5 - 8. Trees ship with soil intact but out of container.
